Patti Husic, president & CEO of Centric Financial Corp. Inc. and Centric Bank has been named one of the 25 “Most Powerful Women in Banking,” an annual list compiled by national publication American Banker.

This is Husic’s fourth consecutive year on the list.

Chosen from hundreds of banking executives from global institutions and community banks, Husic landed number 24 on this year’s list. She will be recognized on Oct. 4 at an awards dinner in New York City.

“It’s an honor to be recognized with some of the most respected names in banking and finance. These smart, influential and tech-savvy women are not only navigating industry disruptions, they’re driving regulatory reform and affecting change in national and international policy,” Husic said in a statement.

Now in its sixteenth year, the 'Most Powerful Women in Banking' identifies and honors women in financial services.

The publication credited Husic’s initiatives designed to get more women in the local business community on company boards as a reason why she was placed on the list – and her leadership.

Husic recently completed a $21 million common stock offering.

“I have seen her influence reach far beyond banking to economic development, small business advocacy, and community service,” Sheri R. Collins, deputy secretary of the Office of Technology and Innovation for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, said in a statement. “I can think of no better ambassador for women or visionary for our bright future than Patti Husic.”

The bank was also recently recognized as one of American Banker's 'Best Banks to Work For.'

Based in Lower Paxton Township, Centric has 107 employees.

Centric Financial Corp., the parent company of Centric Bank, has $682 million in assets. According to its most recent earnings report, the company had net income of $1.9 million in the second quarter of 2018, up from $1.23 million at the same time last year.

Founded in 2007, Centric has four locations around the midstate and two commercial loan offices as well as an operations office in Hampden Township.
